  • The Meatless Farm Co is expanding into all Dunnes stores across Ireland and Northern Ireland
  • The new listing follows a stream of successful launches in major retailers across the UK including Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Co-op
  • The brand is experiencing immense growth, having just announced its launch into the US market too

British company, The Meatless Farm Co, is launching into all 151 Dunnes stores across Ireland and Northern Ireland this summer with its 400g plant-based mince and two-pack 227g plant-based burger patties.

Growth of plant-based products in the UK is showing no sign of slowing, as value sales of the meat-free market are forecast to increase by a further 44% by 2023 to reach £1.1 billion.* The Meatless Farm Co has seen great success to date launching into UK, Sweden, Canada, UAE and most recently the United States of America.

Rob Woodall, CEO of The Meatless Farm Co, says “As a British company we are thrilled to be continuing our expansion across the United Kingdom, establishing ourselves in Ireland and working with Dunnes. The plant-based market is booming and we’re seeing a huge demand from veggies, vegans and flexitarians alike. Our ambition is to replace the main centre of plate item and really drive the plant-based family eating occasion, even if it’s once or twice a week.”

The Irish expansion will be supported by POS, print and online advertising, social media, PR and sampling and in-store activation.

The British company also recently introduced new plant-based sausages to the UK market, currently listed in Sainsbury’s. The sausages are made from high quality, plant-based ingredients, including the company’s signature mix of pea, soya and rice protein. The sausages join The Meatless Farm Co’s plant-based mince and burgers being high in protein, a good source of fibre, vegan friendly and gluten free.
