One of the UK’s most popular Norwegian deli cheeses with holes has secured a listing for two of its products in Morrisons.
Norwegian cheese Jarlsberg, famous the world over for its distinctive sweet and nutty taste and its large, round holes, is now available to buy in 160g slices format in Morrisons stores across the UK, while Morrisons delis will be selling Jarlsberg on its deli for £1.70 per 100g.
Meanwhile, Jarlsberg Light, a reduced fat alternative to Jarlsberg Original, has also launched in Marks and Spencer in slices format and is branded M&S Jarlsberg Light (200g).
Ffion Davies, Senior Brand Manager for Jarlsberg, said: “The mild, nutty taste of Jarlsberg is a legendary flavour and the slices format are a nice and easy tasty addition to sandwiches and toasties, or even just enjoyed as a snack or as part of a cheeseboard.
“Securing these listings with Morrisons and M&S is great for the brand and for consumers, who will find it easier to get their hands on this deliciously tasty cheese.”
Jarlsberg Slices are now available to buy in Morrisons and M&S (as a labelled partnership with M&S), while Jarlsberg is available on the delis at Morrisons stores. Jarlsberg wedge is on sale in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Ocado.
