There have been huge levels of consumer demand in recent years for exotic flavours in soft drinks alongside an increased need to provide reduced-sugar alternatives. Grace Foods, the UK’s leading supplier of Caribbean food and drink* has tapped into the opportunity with Grace Aloe Refresh.

GRACE-ALOE_SAY-ALOE_LINEUP[2][4]Brand Manager Giuseppe Vullo says: “The health benefits of aloe vera are well known, and all early indications are that ready-to-drink aloe vera has as much potential as coconut water. Projections point towards it being a £40m category within the next 4-5 years*.

“The refreshing properties of Grace Aloe Refresh appeal to a mainstream audience and resonate with people looking for great-tasting, lower-sugar alternatives to traditional chilled juices, smoothies and flavoured waters. The products contain less than 4.8g of sugar per 100ml and less than 100 calories per bottle.”

The range is made with real aloe vera pulp and juice, and is suitable for vegetarians and gluten-free. Flavours include Original, Mango and Strawberry. It’s made using only natural flavours and no artificial colours and contains more than 100% of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C.

The range is being supported by national sampling, outdoor advertising and newspaper promotions.

“Grace Aloe Refresh is delivering real innovation to the chilled juices fixture in-store and retailers should stock up today to drive incremental sales,” concludes Vullo.
