TV boost for Veno’s

Forest Laboratories UK Ltd and their marketing partners Ceuta Healthcare have confirmed that Veno’s will be back on TV this winter with its ‘She knows, he knows, Veno’s’ TV commercial. The 10 second execution will be screened on ITV – including ITV Breakfast – throughout the month of January providing national coverage at a key time in the cold and flu season.

The creative, developed by Fox Kalomaski Crossing, builds on the brand’s strong heritage and suitability for the family. It starts with a parrot being buffeted around by a man’s cough. Fortunately for both man and parrot the man’s partner reaches for Veno’s and the parrot squawks ‘She knows …now he knows’. The voice over goes on to say ‘For chesty, dry and tickly coughs there’s … ‘ with the parrot finishing the sentence with a triumphant ‘Veno’s!’

The TV will be reinforced in-store with high impact free standing display units (FSDU’s) featuring the TVC’s parrot star.

Commenting, Clare Young Group Marketing Manager, Forest says: “We are continuing to invest in the brand and this latest campaign, reinforced by the FSDU’s in independent grocery, will build on growth achieved last year – when ex factory sales showed a 15 per cent increase year on year (YOY).”

Veno’s has been a household name for over 100 years and yet it still resonates with consumers today. The current range comprises Veno’s Expectorant, Veno’s Honey & Lemon (also suitable for children aged 2 years and over) and Veno’s Cough Syrup (suitable for children aged 3 years and over) making the brand a good choice for the family.
