The Mother & Baby Awards are the leading Parent and Childs Awards in the UK, and the ‘must have’ industry award for children’s brands.
Childs Farm 3in1 Swim was the only toiletries product shortlisted for the Best Swimming Product Category.
The category Gold winner was Splash About Swimming knickers and in Bronze, Huggies Little Swimmers.
Founder and CEO Joanna Jensen said: “Swimming is an important part of baby’s development, and is also a wonderful bonding experience for parents.
I developed the 3in1 swim product after my experience swimming with both my girls and whilst we loved the swimming, we found the post-swim shower was always a challenge. By developing a shampoo, conditioner and body wash in one, both the kids and I could hair wash and body wash with ease, without excessive baby wriggling or dropping multiple bottles on my feet!
Childs Farm 3in1 Swim being recognised by the parents who test the products for the Mother & Baby Awards is a real joy. There is no other product like it on the market, and the smell of strawberries and soothing organic mint essential oils, makes the whiff of chlorine go in a flash, and leaves skin and hair smooth and moisturised.”
Childs Farm toiletries was established by Jensen in 2010 to deal with her own children’s sensitive skin and began trading in 2012.
The 3in1 Swim product is formulated using over 98% naturally derived ingredients, and contains organic mint essential oil.
Childs Farm 3in1 Swim participated in an Independent Clinical Trial to ensure it is suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin & for newborns and upwards. The findings of this Clinical Trial were then reviewed and approved by a dermatologist and a paediatrician.
Childs Farm 3in1 swim then participated in two Independent user trials; one for newborns aged 0-3 months, and another on children aged 0-18 months with medically diagnosed eczema.
89% of the 100 parents who participated in the user trial and whose children suffered from medically diagnosed eczema would recommend the 3in1 Swim product to other parents of children and babies with sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
