  • SodaStream will bring Pepsi MAX, Pepsi, 7UP Free and 7UP flavours to UK consumers
  • The launch marks the very first time SodaStream fans can make PepsiCo drinks at home
  • All flavours will be available to purchase for £4.99 from Sainsbury’s (22nd September), Asda (26th October) and Ocado (12th October) as well as sodastream.co.uk

This September, SodaStream, the world’s leading sparkling water brand, is launching four of PepsiCo’s most popular drinks as flavours in UK supermarkets; Pepsi MAX, Pepsi, 7UP Free and 7UP.

The launch is SodaStream’s biggest development in the flavours market to date. It marks the very first time that SodaStream consumers will be able to make PepsiCo drinks at home, reflecting an increased demand from consumers over the past year for at home convenience.

By adding a dash of one of the delicious PepsiCo flavours to their sparkling water, SodaStream fans now have greater freedom of choice when it comes to how they enjoy soft drinks. Consumers can now make up to nine litres of sparkling refreshment at home out of each 440ml bottle of PepsiCo flavour, giving them more sustainable options to enjoy their favourite drinks.

The new PepsiCo flavours from SodaStream are available to purchase now for £4.99 from Sainsbury’s (22nd September), Asda (26th October) and Ocado (12th October) as well as directly through SodaStream.co.uk.

“This is a major milestone in SodaStream’s mission to bring consumers the best beverage choices, whilst also caring for our planet,” said Eyal Shohat, Chief Executive Officer of SodaStream. “SodaStream users will be able to make their favourite Pepsi beverages in the comfort of their homes using their SodaStream sparkling water maker and reusable bottles.”

“As we look to accelerate growth for SodaStream, we are excited to introduce an offering bringing these powerful brands together,” said Jim Andrew, Executive Vice President, SodaStream, Beyond the Bottle, and New Ventures for PepsiCo. “Together with SodaStream, we are working to advance our shared goal of reducing plastic waste and building a more sustainable future, and this represents just another step on this journey.”

And once consumers have bubbled away to their heart’s content, making PepsiCo drinks using their SodaStream, they can replace their empty gas cylinders too to get their sparkle back. They can simply sign up to SodaStream’s Sparkle Saver’s Plan to exchange directly and receive a £10 refundable deposit off of future orders, making each gas cylinder just £13. Or consumers can exchange in 3,000 stores nationwide including Asda, Sainsbury’s, Robert Dyas, Lakeland and Argos.
