pladis, the global snacking company behind some of the UK’s most loved and iconic brands, including Jacob’s, Carr’s and McVitie’s, is launching its largest on-pack promotion to date for its popular Flipz brand.

Live for 12 weeks, Flipz ‘Grab a Grand’ is aimed at driving both trial and impulse purchases and will offer lucky winners nationwide a £1,000 cash prize each week from now until 23rd December this year. Consumers must simply buy a pack and scan the QR code for their chance to ‘Grab a Grand’.

New, campaign-specific on-pack designs across four of the brand’s bestselling SKUs – Flipz Milk Chocolate (80g PMP and 90g formats), Flipz Peanut Butter (80g PMP) and Flipz Salted Caramel (90g) – will alert shoppers to the competition and generate even stronger standout on shelf for the brand, which has become a £12 million sales success since hitting the UK market back in 2018[1].

And we’ve spotted an opportunity to take this to the next level with our latest campaign.

“It’s no secret that costs across the board are continuing to soar, so we wanted to introduce an engaging competition which offers a weekly prize of £1,000 that we know will be genuinely valuable and drive strong appeal. Flipz ‘Grab a Grand’ will do exactly that, helping our retail customers drive higher volume sales in the process.”

To make the campaign even more unmissable, Flipz ‘Grab a Grand’ will be supported via PR and shopper activity, alongside a geo-targeted social campaign to drive shoppers in-store. Eligible SKUs are available to convenience retailers and wholesalers now, whilst the on-pack design for Flipz Milk Chocolate (90g) will also roll out across multiple grocery.
