Nestlé Cereals has announced the launch of its new on-pack promotion and social media activations to inspire the nation’s families to get active as part of its official partnership with ParalympicsGB.

As a ‘Gold Partner’ the cereals expert will work with a selection of Paralympic athlete ambassadors in the run up to the Tokyo Summer Games – including Will Bayley, Kadeena Cox, Libby Clegg and Stef Reid – on activities and promotions to inspire inclusivity, promote an active lifestyle, and bring families together.

The on-pack promotion will run across some of the UK’s most loved cereal brands such as SHREDDIES®, CHEERIOS®, NESQUIK®, SHREDDED WHEAT® and GO FREE®, with the chance for families all over the UK to win hundreds of prizes including a treadmill, mini trampolines, city bikes, National Trust family memberships, Adidas vouchers and sport water bottles.

Toby Baker, Regional Marketing Director UKA – Nestlé Cereals, said: “We are delighted to be a Gold Partner to ParalympicsGB, and are excited to be working with some of the UK’s most inspiring athletes to get the nation active through our on-pack promotion and social media activity this Summer.

“Nestlé Cereals has always been committed to making a positive difference to people’s lives by encouraging a healthier lifestyle, and this partnership has given us the perfect opportunity to share ideas to improve the nation’s wellbeing beyond what is eaten at the breakfast table.”

The partnership will also see the creation of unique stickers and filters featuring the ambassadors for fans to use to show their support for the British team during the Games, as well as to help to promote greater inclusivity across social media channels. In addition, the ambassadors will be taking over the Nestlé Cereals social channels as part of the ‘Tokyo Breakfast Club’ – sharing their favourite exercises, advice and highlights of their Paralympic journeys with followers.

Mike Sharrock, Chief Executive at British Paralympic Association, said: “We have really enjoyed having Nestlé Cereals on board as one of our Gold Partners this last year and a half. Promoting health and inclusivity lies at the heart of ParalympicsGB, and we can’t wait to see our athletes making an appearance on some of the nation’s favourite cereals.”

Nestlé Cereals promotion with ParalympicsGB will be running on selected cereal packs and the Nestlé Cereals website from July 23rd until September 15th, offering 550 prizes in total, with a final draw on October 1st
