Natural Balance Foods is set to drive excitement and conversation around its nākd. brand with a new rotational flavour series, kicking off with the limited-edition Cocoa Mint making a six-month comeback from this month. nākd. Cocoa Mint will join the tasty portfolio of wheat, gluten and dairy-free, vegan snack bars, rolling out just in time for the winter season, in grocery from 24th October. The new release is set to boost brand awareness among new shoppers and will provide the perfect seasonal snack to enjoy at home or on-the-go.

Limited-edition flavours are a great way to drive excitement and interest with consumers – offering more choice to existing shoppers, whilst enticing new ones to the category. Cocoa Mint was a huge success when it initially launched in 2014, and since it came off shelf consumers have been demanding its return as a much-loved flavour. The limited-edition launch will help retailers boost sales by driving footfall to the cereal bars aisle and offering opportunities for off-shelf seasonal features.

Jo Agnew, marketing director at Natural Balance Foods, comments, “As one of the leading brands within the ‘better for you’ cereal bar segment, we wanted to drive relevance all year round by bringing back a product that is on trend this season and also a beloved flavour amongst our consumers. Here at nākd. we believe that delicious taste is key and something shoppers don’t want to compromise on, even when it comes to healthier snacking. We are very excited about this launch and confident that our limited-edition flavour – Cocoa Mint – will be a hit amongst new, lapsed and existing shoppers.  We will follow this with another 6 months rolling special edition flavour, to keep shoppers engaged and continue to drive conversations around the nākd. brand.”

This follows the launch of nākd. Protein Bars and Big Bars earlier this year, as the brand continues to expand its range. nākd. Cocoa Mint will be available in multipacks of four, in Sainsbury’s, carrying an RRP of £3.00.
