The new mango flavour will be available to purchase in 330ml cans that contain just 49 calories per can
Lower sugar, low calorie energy drink brand, Carabao, is expanding its range of fruit-flavoured drinks with the launch of its new Carabao Mango Burst flavour, available to purchase from mid-May at all leading retailers.
The latest offering from the brand, which offers customers a fresh, fruity, tropical taste sensation, will launch just in time for the summer months. The new mango flavour joins Carabao’s existing range of much-loved fruit flavours including Green Apple, Mixed Berry and Orange Blast, and offers a newly improved lower sugar and more natural formula.
Consumer research amongst energy drinkers by YouGov found that mango is one of the top five preferred flavours. In addition, 90% of respondents strongly agreed that they liked the taste of the drink[1] when taking part in a blind taste test. Carabao has listened to its customers by adding this new fruity flavour to its range.
On a mission to offer its customers even better tasting and healthier energy drinks, Carabao has removed aspartame from the new mango flavour as well as substituting synthetic colours and flavours for natural alternatives, a move that is soon to be rolled out across the entire range. Containing just 49 calories per can and a lower sugar formula, the new energy drink flavour sits within the government’s HFSS guidelines making it the perfect option for consumers looking to make healthier choices. With 8 out of 10 existing mango energy drinks only available in 500ml variants, shoppers can enjoy a refreshing boost of Carabao’s Mango Burst while on-the-go with a 330ml can.
