Amid rising interest in global cuisines, premium UK rice brand Tilda is helping food lovers to spice up their rice meals with two new additions to its ready-to-heat offering, both set to hit supermarket shelves from mid-June. The Masala Rice and Limited Edition Indonesian Fried Rice pouches promise to elevate the taste, quality and texture of people’s midweek meals in a matter of minutes by tapping into world cuisines to deliver global flavours and are perfect to use with leftover vegetables for a tasty and quick meal.

Satisfying people’s appetite for global cuisines – and particularly Indian cuisine which is a top choice in the UK and as part of takeaways – Tilda has crafted a delicious quick fix for an Indian inspired dish with its new ready-to-heat Masala Rice. The product combines Tilda’s signature Pure Basmati Rice with fragrant onion, garlic and tomato as well as Masala spices – perfect for pairing with chicken or, for those who are seeking a veggie option, crunchy vegetables and a sprinkle of buttery cashew nuts.

Following the success of its Limited Edition Katsu Curry rice, which has now become a permanent staple of Tilda’s ready-to-heat range, the brand is now introducing another category-first: Indonesian Fried Rice. Inspired by the Indonesian national dish Nasi Goreng, Tilda’s new Limited Edition Indonesian Fried Rice is bursting with flavour and a hint of chilli, as well as red pepper, carrot and spring onion. Home cooks and food enthusiasts can pair the rice with chicken or tofu and top with a freshly fried egg and salty peanuts for the ultimate stir fry.
