Premier Foods is expanding its plant-based offering into the cooking sauce category with new Plantastic Creamy Pasta Sauces. The brand is addressing the gap in the market for 100% plant-based products that deliver on taste. Rolling out across the grocery channel now, the Creamy Pasta Sauces from Plantastic are set to appeal to shoppers looking for products that can help them to make delicious plant-based meals quickly and easily at home. The move into cooking sauces is a first for Plantastic and will address the demand for consumers looking for tasty plant-based alternatives in the category.

Plant-based food is currently valued at £1.79bn[1] and is estimated to reach £2bn by 2024[2].
