Market-leading fresh soup brand New Covent Garden is celebrating the best of festive flavours with its December Soup of the Month.
“Festive Parsnip & Honey” is a creamy, warming soup which is “brimming” with the comforting flavours of savoury parsnip and sweet honey.
The soup was created via New Covent Garden’s social media campaign, whereby consumers are invited to submit recipes based on a particular theme.
Consumer Emma Bremner impressed with her creamy and comforting recipe, based on a festive theme.
“New Covent Garden has always been well-known for its festive, warming winter soups, with variants such as ‘Mushroom, Stilton & Pearl Barley’ and ‘Smoked Bacon, Vintage Cheddar & Winter Greens’ making popular appearances in the past,” says Nick Munby, Marketing Manager for New Covent Garden Soup Co.
“We asked consumers to carry on this tradition by delivering ‘Christmas in soup form’ – and Emma’s recipe certainly lived up to the challenge.
“Featuring seasonal ingredients and flavours plucked straight from the dinner table, Emma’s soup, presented in eye-catching, festive packaging, will have consumers flocking to the soup fixture this Christmas season.”
‘Festive Parsnip & Honey’ is available in outers of six, with an RRP of £2.20.
