Nestlé’s Munchies launch new on-trend flavours

  • On trend flavours Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cookie Dough served with buttery shortbread biscuit
  • New flavours created at Nestlé’s confectionery sites in York and Fawdon, Newcastle

Nestlé, the world’s largest food and drink producer, has introduced two new delicious on-trend flavours to its much-loved Munchies brand in the UK and Ireland this summer. Available in 101g sharing bags, new Munchies Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Munchies Cookie Dough are the first new Munchies products since 1996.

Munchies Brand Manager Cat Mews said: “We are thrilled to bring these two tasty new flavours to our Munchies family. Our teams in York and Fawdon have worked tirelessly over the last six months to bring these new flavours to our loyal Munchies fans. It’s a real delight to see (and taste) the results of our hard work, reaction so far has been amazing and we can’t wait to see what’s next for Munchies.”

Research revealed that Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cookie Dough were the most preferred new flavours for a new variant of Munchies. The new Munchiesflavour innovations took just six months from concept to market thanks to the expertise and creativity of the expert chocolatiers at Nestlé’s Fawdon factory in Newcastle. Original Munchies are one of Nestlé’s most popular sharing bags, so UK and Irish chocolate fans will be delighted with the new choices on offer with following the introduction of Munchies Chocolate Fudge Brownie and MunchiesCookie Dough.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie is available in all major retailers and Cookie Dough is exclusive to Tesco, Booker and One Stop Stores.
