The Welwyn Garden City-based company won three major awards in the hotly contested ‘Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2016’, organised by Herts Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to winning the ‘Excellence in People Development’ award, Grace Foods was voted ‘Medium to Large Business of the Year’ and won the most prestigious award of all, ‘Overall Business of the Year’.

Managing Director Adam Reader said the awards were the result of a “huge amount of commitment and endeavour by people throughout the company.”

“We pride ourselves on our team spirit and we empower people at all levels to make decisions. The awards are the result of a lot of hard work by a lot of people, but we won’t rest on our laurels. We will use the success as a springboard for continued success.”

Grace Foods UK employs approximately 200 people and comprises three subsidiary companies – Enco Products Limited (primarily Caribbean foods), Chadha Oriental Foods Limited (Asian and Oriental) and Funnybones Foodservice Limited (American and Tex-Mex).

In addition to its sales, marketing and distribution headquarters in Hertforshire, the company owns a state-of-the-art production facility in Corwen, North Wales.
