Energizer offers families movie fun as part of its Christmas partnership

Intent on leading the charge this Christmas – a key selling period for batteries – Energizer®, the UK’s fastest growing battery brand, is partnering with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to offer classic Digital HD movies with special ‘FILM’ packs of its batteries.

The promotion tagline, ‘For movie moments that last and last’, highlights the longevity of Energizer batteries with the promotion landing on packs through to December. This forms part of Energizer’s biggest ever pan- European campaign spanning 21 markets, 19 languages and appearing on 8 million promotional packs.

The scale of the promotion demonstrates the brand’s ongoing commitment to being partner of choice for retailers at this key time and follows a tried and tested formula that has previously contributed to considerable success.

Last year, Energizer® negotiated a similar proposition with distributors of the hit movie ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ giving shoppers a chance to win character plush toys from the movie. The activation helped Energizer® grow retail sales by 11% year on year , its third consecutive year of growth.

Alongside the Christmas promotion, the month also sees the start of Energizer UK’s ATL brand campaign, promoting the innovation message that Energizer is the maker of the world’s longest lasting battery. The creative will run across national TV, Video on Demand and print, putting Energizer on course for its fourth consecutive year of growth.
