Brother UK has launched a new range of robust mobile printers for people working in the retail sector, designed to meet a broad range of portable print requirements.
The range has been designed to help retail employees print shelf labelling, reduction labels, receipts and queue-busting tickets directly from their mobile devices.
It consists of four lightweight, compact and hardwearing models – two for receipts and two for receipt and label printing – developed to withstand busy shopfloor environments, drop tested to 2.5m and IP54 rated out of the box. With the option to print two inch labels, they enable users to produce a range of self-adhesive labels to deliver instore operational applications.
The RJ-2000 range is designed with a busy workforce in mind. Models in the series offer users reliable, fast (152mm/sec) and highquality printing and are easily transported with features including a belt clip. Optional accessories such as a shoulder strap and multi bay charging stations are also available, making them ideal for stores and workers with extended opening hours. Their lightweight design and compact size ensures users can use them during their entire shift without fear of fatigue.
The machines offer a wide range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, meaning users can print at the point of application. With the capability to also integrate seamlessly with industry leading software, the printers slot easily into existing working structures, increasing efficiency while keeping the need for significant change to a minimum.
As some of the most technologically advanced mobile printers on the market, the newly released models use direct thermal printing technology to guarantee quality and reliability.
