This week Lidl UK will launch its latest set of collectable Stikeez for shoppers to get their hands on. The new ‘Stikeez from Space’ range follows Lidl’s hugely successful Euros collection, which saw all 8 million available snapped up within just two weeks. The new range will feature 24-characters for shoppers to collect when they spend £10 or more in store*.
The latest playground-craze to sweep the nation, Stikeez skyrocketed in popularity when first launched in 2015, with children swapping and sharing their Stikeez to complete the set. Now Lidl is releasing 16 million free Stikeez – double the number available for the Euro range – with a further 4.3million Stikeez that can be bought, along with a limited number of Collector Albums and Collector Bags for children and adults to take home. Depicting various alien characters, 3 of which glow in the dark, the miniature figures will be available at checkouts from 25th August across Lidl’s UK stores.
The new collection follows British astronaut Tim Peake’s return to earth this June, following 185 days in space, when the nation once again became gripped with fascination at what lies beyond the final frontier, making the new Stickeez in Space the perfect collectables.
Landing in stores from 25th August, Stickeez are free to shoppers who spend over £10 in one transaction, or are available to purchase for 29p each. Stickeez will be available while stocks last across Lidl’s UK stores.
