WHAT

Speciality-&-Fine-Food-Fair---London,-Olympia

The UK’s leading free to attend B2B showcase of fine food and drink… Speciality & Fine Food Fair, incorporating Speciality Chocolate Fair.

WHEN

Sunday 7th to Tuesday 9th September 2014.

WHERE

Olympia Grand, London

The 15th edition of Speciality & Fine Food Fair, incorporating Speciality Chocolate Fair, is set to be bigger and better than ever before. At the start of July, exhibitor space had already sold out! More space was released to accommodate the overwhelming demand and this will see producer numbers exceed 650. These record breaking figures are going to make for a hugely vibrant and diverse Fair.

Speciality & Fine Food Fair is the must-attend event for the fine food and drink sector. It is about building real relationships with artisan producers and suppliers – and celebrating the heritage, quality and passion for good food. More than 12,000 buyers and industry professionals are expected to attend and there will be 1000s of food and drink products, ingredients and new ideas; appealing to retailers, hospitality providers and foodservice operators.

Recycling gourmet style

This year, the Fair has teamed up with the charity, The Trussell Trust, who work to empower local communities to combat poverty and exclusion in the UK and Bulgaria. They support people that society forgets, providing practical help through sustainable projects. The Trust’s fast growing UK foodbank network feeds hundreds of thousands of people in crisis in the UK. At the Fair, they will be running a food collection service and foodbanks close to Olympia will benefit from any leftover goodies.

Sourcing new products

Speciality & Fine Food Fair will once again bring together a full spectrum of new and artisan products. New products on the menu will include The “Marqués de Guadalmina”, Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Well balanced and very smooth, this is a graceful oil that immediately engages the palate. Light and slightly fruity, this oil is fantastic on its own to drizzle over salads, breads and vegetables – or to enhance the flavours of the most complex of cuisines. Stag Bakeries will introduce their gourmet All-Butter Cheese Straws. Rich, indulgent cheese straws that are light, flaky and delicious. There are four flavours in the range, each using a different Scottish speciality cheese. From the dairy category and a completely fresh face to the Fair, is Yokel, a brand new company that has been trading for only eight months. They make deliciously creamy, less than 3% fat Greek Style chunky fruit yogurts. There are four flavours to try; luxuriously rich strawberry, deliciously bold blackberry, creamy kiwi and magnificent mango.

Garden of England are a relatively new brand to the speciality food sector. They will be showcasing their range of quintessentially English condiments and preserves.
