As it celebrates its fortieth year of being on sale in the UK, the much-loved Panda Liquorice brand has undergone a design overhaul with every one of the products sporting a fresh new eye-catching design. The brand itself has been producing the award-winning liquorice in Finland for a whopping 94 years proving that it’s a brand that has stood the test of time.  The new communication concept termed “Be more panda” has been in progress with London Design Agency This Way Up for the majority of the year. It focuses on evoking positive emotional connections whilst retaining the natural roots of the brand. The result is a very upbeat, happy and positive design which will be hitting the shelves over the coming months.

Lisa Gawthorne Director at Bravura Foods (Panda’s exclusive distributor in the UK) comments ‘The brand is so iconic to the UK confectionery market and has a fiercely loyal fan base so are delighted to be taking this new look packaging project to the market that really better than anything out there!. Fellow Director at Bravura Foods Karl Morris adds “We have taken this brand over the years to be a real mass market player and it’s a great time for this new design to be hitting the market when interest in vegan and vegetarian confectionery continues to rise.”

The all-natural panda liquorice range is totally vegan friendly and is free from artificial colours and flavours as well as being fat free. The original black liquorice boasts the smallest ingredients deck on the market, made with just four ingredients as the brand has always been focused on minimal ingredients for maximum taste.

Bravura Foods have been distributing the Panda brand exclusively for 11 years. The range includes share bags, small bags, impulse bars and multipack bar products. The products are available in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Asda Morrisons, Ocado, Holland and Barrett, Wholefoods, Planet Organic and health food stores nationwide.
