2016 is a very exciting year for RMS, with many new retailers embracing their suite of application tools which have been designed by retailers, for retailers. The launch of their new brand ‘Metro’ consolidates the RMS reputation of providing ‘best in class’ solutions and enables retailers to plan their own technology journey according to their business requirements.
At RBTE on Stand 970, RMS will be formally launching their new collective toolset of applications in conjunction with announcing multiple new client wins – all who are deploying the new solution to stores.
For over a decade RMS have been providing retailers with a range of software tools to help manage their distributed businesses more effectively.
Historically though each solution has stood alone – deployed to address a specific challenge at a particular point in time. However, as times passed RMS found its clients (of which there are now more than 80 leading retailers and brands using RMS solutions) wanted to deploy more products, often at the same time but without the pain of effectively starting from scratch for each. The answer is Metro – the name given to RMS’ new collective toolset of applications designed to achieve perfect coordination, compliance and execution in distributed environments such as Retail, Hospitality and Healthcare.
Using a common cloud based platform, all Metro lines, of which there are currently nine to choose from, operate seamlessly with each other removing the need for dozens of expensive and difficult to maintain applications from different vendors to consolidate into one cost-effective interconnected suite.
