The Unique and delicious Liqourice Flyers™ were first produced by Maxilin in 1946 and they are still made by the traditional “batch”method of production. A Flyer is a truly unique product; it’s a soft eating liquorice tube, filled with tangy sherbet crystals, topped with a fruit flavoured toffee cap.
Tango is a brand that fits really well with the unique eating experience of Flyers™ and Maxilin’s strategy for further growth. The first phase of Tango product was successfully launched in count line format aimed at Cash and Carry, Independents and wholesalers last December.
IFE held from 17th – 20th March at London’s ExCel provides the platform for phase two, when Tango Orange Pre- Pack Flyers are launched. The pre – packs contain four individual Tango Orange Liqourice Flyers, available in eye catching flow wrap packs, with a recommended retail of just 50p per pack. Watch out as these “tasty Tango treats” are truly a taste sensation detonation!
Maxilin operates from two A graded British Retail Consortium approved sites in Bolton Lancashire and supplies all sectors of the Confectionery Market.
Darren Butterworth, Sales Director at Maxilin added. “We are proud to have been appointed as a Tango licensee and pleased to offer visitors and customers at IFE with the first opportunity to sample our fantastic new Tango Flyer packs.
We look forward to welcoming people to our stand S2766 to see the Tango Flyers, our other Tango planned products and our existing fruit flavoured range. The International Food Exhibition provides the perfect platform to do this.
Ian Downes, Director of Start Licensing, commented…“I am always on the lookout for product that can maximise the strengths and characteristics of the brands my company represents. Maxilin’s unique and original Flyers certainly hit the mark for Tango taste sensation.”
Tango Orange Flyers complement Maxilin’s existing range in three flavours; Original, Blackcurrant and Strawberry.
