LGBT HERO Charity will receive £5 from every rainbow bottle sold
The #1 Spanish strawberry gin brand, Puerto de Indias, has announced it is launching a new LGBTQ+ themed rainbow bottle in support of LGBTQ+ communities.
The launch marks Puerto de Indias’ first ever “Unlimited Edition” bottle, because whilst it’s aptly being launched during Pride Month, the rainbow bottle is proudly available all-year round, to represent the brand’s commitment to fighting hate 365 days of the year. What’s more, Puerto de Indias is pledging to donate £5 of every bottle sold to the LGBT HERO Charity.
LGBT HERO is a national health and wellbeing charity supporting more than 100,000 LGBTQ+ people a month by providing trusted information, advice and various types of support including one-to-one, group and peer-support.
LGBT HERO aims to improve the health, enhance the wellbeing and champion the rights of LGBTQ+ people. The charity provides the LGBTQ+ community with accurate and credible information so they can build skills that enable them to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing.
Erwin Maldonado, Global Chief Marketing Officer, said: “We are delighted to partner with LGBT HERO and support the great work they do for LGBTQ+ communities. We hope that the money donated will provide them with the ability to reach more people and assist them in helping their members.
“Here at Puerto de Indias, we are extremely passionate about showcasing our support for the LGBTQ+ community all year-round, not just during Pride Month. We believe pride should be limitless, and our commitment should extend beyond appearing and disappearing once Pride celebrations are over. That’s why our rainbow bottle is not just a limited-edition run for the month of June, but will be available 365 days of the year, making it our first ever ‘Unlimited Edition’ bottle.”
Ian Howley, CEO of LGBT HERO, added: “We are excited and honoured that Puerto De Indias has chosen to partner with LGBT HERO for the UK launch of its LGBTQ+ Unlimited Edition bottle. Our community continues to face some of the harshest health and social inequalities that exist in society. In the last year, we have seen huge spikes in people accessing mental health and suicide prevention information and services. We have also seen many older people explore their sexuality and gender identity for the first time. The money raised from the Puerto de Indias bottle will allow us to expand this work and provide help, advice and support for even more LGBTQ+ people throughout the UK.”
The special LGBTQ+ bottle will be available nationwide for £26.99.
