Kingsway Printers a renowned UK label manufacturer have won a Silver Starpack Award for their ingenious M&S Grinders featuring Crystal Clear Peel & Reveal Labels. A remit was given to obtain the maximum information possible onto a set label footprint upon the grinder. Mike Goddard, Sales Director, and his team then set to work and produced a peel and read format with half peel properties to give that no label look but utilising two layers.
This gave a crystal clear application where the product remains on view within the grinder giving the effect of printed glass but with the additional effect of a peelable panel. The team also then came up with reduced material weight and liner giving a 36% reduction in packaging in comparison with a previous clear peel and read format.
