tim-sutcliffeRecruitment agency Barker Ross has produced two short online videos on biometrics and e-training in response to growing demand from prospective industrial clients for its unique flexible worker services.

The short presentations – available via email and accessed in one click – clearly explain the benefits of these two services, which have been widely taken up by industrial employers across the Midlands.

Barker Ross’s state of the art biometrics system, which accurately records agency workers’ time and attendance, has undergone further advances in its access control technology since it was rolled out two years ago. Latest  enhancements mean it now provides real time, browser-based cost analysis enabling employers to keep an even closer eye on their labour costs as well as eradicating practices  such as ‘buddy punching’ where workers clock each other on and off site.

Barker Ross’s e-training video has also been requested by employers keen to know more about the online training in manual handling and food hygiene that all the agency’s temporary workers must undergo before setting foot on a client’s premises.

Tim Sutcliffe, Director of Barker Ross Industrial Division, added: “Our e-training initiative and biometrics system have each generated a lot of interest, with industrial clients in a whole range of sectors selecting these services.

“In just one click employers can easily find out more about the benefits of both, and early indications suggest the videos are very useful.”

The Leicester-based consultancy supplies thousands of temporary staff in industries such as picking, packing, manufacturing, distribution and logistics, with Dominoes Toys in Leicester and William Sinclair Horticulture in Lincoln among its diverse range of clients.
