KP Snacks today announces the launch of a fiery new flavour for its beacon “Better For You” brand popchips. Designed to bring a kick to the Healthy Snacking segment, popchips Hot & Spicy is rolling into stores from mid-February.
Delivering a delicious and fiery snacking experience, popchips Hot & Spicy capitalises on the growing trend of spicy flavours to excite and engage shoppers. “Spicy” is the third fastest growing flavour profile, worth £207m in CSN Sharing.
The Healthier Snacking segment is strong and growing +23.9%[1] as trends towards healthier eating continue, with shoppers searching for permissible snacks that don’t compromise on big flavour. popchips Hot & Spicy delivers a taste of excitement with a deliciously light and crunchy snack, designed to attract new shoppers to the category.

popchips Hot & Spicy is available in a 23g Single format with an RRP of £1.00 and a 85g Sharing format with an RRP of £2.25.
Popped not fried, popchips come in at under 100 calories per serving, suitable for
vegetarians and vegans, and with a third less fat than the market leader. Last year, the entire popchips portfolio was reformulated to become non-HFSS. The popchips brand is worth £43.5m and growing in value +14.5%[2].
