UK’s best-selling canned cocktail range welcomes Lime Margarita and Berry Woo Woo, plus Aperitivo Spritz cans
FUNKIN COCKTAILS, the UK’s number one cocktail brand[1] and creator of the nation’s favourite RTD cocktail with its Nitro Passion Fruit Martini Can, is aiming to extend its reach by adding three brand-new serves to its best-selling canned cocktail portfolio.
With cocktail consumption at an all-time high[2], and warmer weather fast approaching, FUNKIN’s demand-driven[3] trio includes a brand-new Aperitivo Spritz – designed to appeal to shoppers searching for the authentic taste of Italy in an accessible RTD format – alongside the nation’s number one cocktail of choice, Nitro Lime Margarita[4].
An iconic Nitro Berry Woo Woo will also join the brand’s hugely popular and bestselling RTD range, sales of which grew by 20% last year to £21.2M[5].
The extended range will offer retailers a further opportunity to capitalise on the growing demand for ready to drink cocktails ahead of spring and summer, always a key trading period.
Lime Margarita and Berry Woo Woo will both benefit from FUNKIN’s unique Nitro format, which infuses nitrogen in every recipe to deliver the bar-quality imbibing experience of a freshly poured velvety cocktail from the comfort of consumers’ own homes or on the go. Aperitivo Spritz, as the only sparkling offering in the new range with natural orange flavour and fresh botanicals, will allow cocktails lovers to recreate the increasingly popular spritz at home.

FUNKIN COCKTAILS’ existing range of Nitro Cans includes the nation’s favourite cocktails, including Passion Fruit Martini, sales of which topped 3 million cans in 2022.
FUNKIN’s new wave of NPD is also accompanied by the release of Lime Margarita in a 700ml Bartender Edition bottle (10% ABV), which includes five serves to be shaken up at home.
FUNKIN COCKTAILS’ new Aperitivo Spritz Can (250ml, RRP: £2.10), Lime Margarita Nitro Can (200ml, RRP: £2.10) and Lime Margarita Bartender Edition bottle (700ml, £9.50) will be available from 16th April in Sainsbury’s and 17th April in Morrisons (Aperitivo Spritz only), before launching into further retailers and wholesale channels over the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Berry Woo Woo Nitro Can (200ml, RRP: £2.10) will be landing in Morrisons from 8th May.
