Wonky fruit infused sparkling water brand, DASH Water has continued to expand its in-store presence across the UK, securing another major listing with leading grocery retailer, Co-op Food.

Popular flavours from DASH’s range of no-sugar, no-calorie and no-sweetener sparkling waters are now available across 1,600 Co-op stores nationwide, offering shoppers an opportunity to choose from Peach and Raspberry as a healthy alternative to soft and carbonated drinks.

A proud B-Corp, DASH is committed to helping to fight food waste by making its drinks from ‘wonky’ fruit that others have said no to. The company is also carbon neutral, with its Carbon Footprint label visible on all cans.

The listing comes as consumer interest in both sugar free options and companies that protect the environment continues to rise, amid a drive to become more health and eco conscious. According to Meticulous Research[i], the sugar-free products market is projected to reach $65.31 billion by 2029 while over half of consumers say their perception of a brand is influenced by its sustainability practices[ii].

DASH was founded in 2017 by inspiring entrepreneurs and friends, Jack Scott and Alex Wright in response to a need for a great tasting drink without sugar or sweetener. The company has since seen continued growth – it is the UK’s top brand[iii] in the fast-emerging seltzer category – and is now stocked in over 8,000 retail points across the country, with a delicious new flavour soon to be available for purchase in just a matter of weeks.

Jack Scott, Co-founder of DASH said:  “Our mission at DASH is to make water fun by enabling consumers to enjoy great tasting, but healthy, flavoured water that has no added sugar or sweeteners. We’re thrilled to be extending our retail line into Co-op Food so that even more people can access our drinks, whether that be consumers who want to reduce their sugar intake without compromising on taste or those who simply want to buy from brands that care about the environment.”

The launch into Co-op is part of DASH’s wider retail strategy to reach new audiences who are looking to make healthier drinks choices at home and on the go, with products also stocked across other major UK retailers, including the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and Amazon.
