thorpe-park-rustlers-packagingKepak Convenience Foods (KCF) is offering thrill seekers free admission to Thorpe Park in a major on-pack promotion on Rustlers, the UK’s best-selling hot snacking brand.

Selected packs of Rustlers and recently launched Rustlers Hot Subs are offering hot snacking fans the chance to ‘thrill out’ at Thorpe Park, the nation’s Thrill Capital.

The promotion runs across Rustlers’ top-selling SKUs including the Quarter Pounder, Chicken Sandwich, BBQ Rib and The Big One (excluding price marked packs), plus both variants of Rustlers Hot Subs.

Consumers claim their free entry by visiting Rustlers’ website. They automatically receive a BOGOF voucher and entry into a competition to win free passes to The Big One – a weekend of extreme events and activities at Thorpe Park on June 5 and 6 including bungee jumping, moto cross stunt shows and extreme gaming. Two consumers will win Rustlers Big One VIP packages, giving them and nine friends an adrenaline-packed, VIP day out.

“The on-pack promotion heralds the start of a sustained programme of support for Rustlers and will enable people to benefit from free admission to one of the UK’s most popular young adult theme parks.

“It will be prominently flashed on-pack, drawing consumer attention to Rustlers on-shelf and attracting more young adult consumers to the brand,” says Aoife Kenny, Kepak Convenience Foods’ Business Development Director.

The promotion will appear on over one million packs and will run until the end of April, highlighting the need for retailers to maintain high stock levels during this period.

KCF is seeding the campaign on-line, heightening awareness on key websites and forums and driving more consumers to the Rustlers website (www.rustlersonline.com)

Kepak Convenience Foods continues to dominate the UK’s £108 million hot snacking market*, accounting for over 70% of all sales in the category*. Rustlers-branded products account for over half of all hot snacking products consumed in the UK, with the brand now worth £57 million*.
