Single-serve sachets of its popular Very Lazy Garlic, Ginger and Hot Chilli Paste are aimed at making life even life easier for consumers wanting to prepare home cooked food without fuss. The sachets are available in recyclable multi-packs of six x 10g single flavours.
Says brand manager Rachel Chang: “Rather than wasting time measuring out spoonfuls, consumers simply add the pre-measured sachet to their dish and carry on cooking. It couldn’t be quicker or easier and takes away the guesswork and confusion when following recipes.
“We see these sachets as a true functional brand extension which will really make life easier for home cooks lacking the skills, confidence or time to cook.”
The smart, cardboard packaging offers a lightweight alternative to glass, while ambient storage will take away waste issues, says Chang. With a maximum six usages per pack, retailers can expect to see higher turnover of stock as consumers experiment with different flavour combinations with the security of portion control. To further inspire consumers, a recipe and website URL are printed on pack.
The paste sachets are expected to retail for around 99p.
