Luxury pudding brand lovetub is appealing to consumers’ festive spirit with the launch of a limited edition Christmas variant.

‘Merry Mince Pie Pudding’ comprises fruity, spiced sponge topped with a layer of fruity sticky toffee sauce and chocolate biscuit snowballs.

Like the other puddings in the 100g lovetub range, the festive variant can be microwaved in just 30 seconds and eaten straight from the tub.

“The Christmas period presents a great profit opportunity for retailers, as consumers seek indulgent products to treat themselves or their friends and family,” says Roberta Herd, Brand Manager for Desserts at Hain Daniels Group. “Luxurious and simple-to-prepare, lovetub Merry Mince Pie Pudding delivers a modern twist on traditional festive flavours. It will have great appeal for consumers looking to celebrate the season and warm those winter nights.”

The variant will attract new consumers to the 100g lovetub range, which comprises Chocolate Pudding, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Chocolate Orange Volcano Pudding. The range is moving the dessert occasion from the dining room to the sofa by appealing to younger consumers seeking quick-to-prepare, satisfying treats.

“lovetub Merry Mince Pie Pudding, with its eye-catching packaging complete with snowflakes, will have great stand-out on shelf and attract new consumers to the fixture,” says Herd.

lovetub Merry Mince Pie Pudding will be available in outers of 8, with an RRP of £1.29. It has been listed exclusively in selected Sainsbury’s stores since 21st November.
