Lir Chocolates, one of Ireland’s leading chocolatiers, is launching a limited-edition Discovery Collection chocolate egg for the Easter period. The egg will be sold exclusively in select Tesco stores and is on sale for the first time in the UK this year. The release comes hot on the heels of the brand’s relaunch of its Discovery Collection box in the UK last year, which saw the brand landing in Morrisons, Tesco and Co-op stores.
Each Easter egg box contains one hollow Belgian Milk Chocolate Egg accompanied by a selection of four chocolates from Lir’s hugely popular Discovery Collection: Cinnamon and Cream, Irish Sea Salted Caramel, Hazelnut Gianduja and Coffee Crunch. The Discovery Collection was launched to mark the company’s 30th birthday last year and the Salted Caramel flavour has even been awarded a 2018 Great Taste Award in recognition of its fantastic taste credentials.

Following on from the successful UK launch of our Discovery Collection last year, the Lir Belgian Milk Chocolate Egg will be exclusive to select Tesco stores this Easter. We’re hopeful it will be just as well-received as the original Discovery Collection.”
