Kerry Foods, the experts in chilled food, today announces an exciting expansion to its Naked Glory range with the launch of its new meat-free Tenderstrips. The new range will be available in three delicious flavours: Roast, Tikka and Smoky BBQ, making the perfect accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes that typically contain chicken – from fajitas and curries to pasta.

Drawing upon Kerry Foods’ 100+ years’ experience within the meat industry, Naked Glory Tenderstrips are a welcome addition to the meat-free category – an alternative that matches both the meaty taste and succulent texture of chicken. The resemblance is so uncanny, carnivores up and down the country will be tempted into a meat-free fling.

Following a successful launch of meat-free Quarter Pounders, Mince and Sausages last year, the arrival of Tenderstrips brings a new opportunity for consumers to ‘Cheat on Meat’ with Naked Glory. Rolling out across the grocery and foodservice channels from February, Naked Glory’s Tenderstrips will help retailers offer shoppers even greater choice and more exciting flavour combinations when it comes to meat-free options.

With half of UK consumers purchasing plant-based food in the past year[1] and sales of meat alternatives continuing to grow in the UK – rising by 18% to £474.5m[2] – the expanding Naked Glory range is set to continue shaking up the category.

As with the original Naked Glory line-up, Tenderstrips have been created by an experienced team of ‘meat mixologists’ at Kerry Foods to bring together irresistible tastes and meaty textures.
