Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Ltd has announced the launch of two unique products which it says will meet growing demand throughout Europe for unusual flavour combinations. Both products are suitable for use in ice cream and sorbets and will allow manufacturers to bring an innovative hot twist to many desserts.
Crack Hot Sponge Cake uses black pepper in small sponge inclusions which can be added to ice cream to deliver an unusual combination of sweet and spicy flavours with hot and cold taste sensations.
Mosquito Bite Cups, made from premium dark chocolate and filled with a delicious lime and chilli sauce, can be used in numerous dessert products giving manufacturers the chance to offer something novel to consumers.
Both products have been developed to retain their shape, full flavour and texture when included in frozen products, allowing new product development specialists to create exciting new lines to help increase market share and boost sales.

Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Ltd was established in the UK in 1999 and supplies all of Europe and Australia from its plant based in Sherburn-in-Elmet, Yorkshire.
The business provides employment for around 45 people and specialises in the development and supply of food ingredients including sauces, fillings, nut pralines, dessert toppings, specialist ice cream inclusions and chocolate products.
