group-packshotGoody Good Stuff, a new range of gummy sweets, made using natural ingredients and a plant derived bio-gum making it suitable for vegetarians has launched in the UK.

With jelly sweets continuing to perform strongly in the sugar confectionery sector, the new range, which has been 15 years in the making is being positioned as a suitable vegetarian alternative and as ‘naturally delicious”. The range benefits from being certified vegetarian, vegan (4 varieties), Kosher and Halal as well as being nut, egg, soy, dairy, gluten and fat free.

Made using specific techniques and the highest quality ingredients, including natural fruit and vegetable extracts, the range contains no artificial E number or FDC colours and offers those with specific dietary requirements, a treat with a beautifully clear consistency and a fantastic taste experience.

The Goody Good Stuff range consists of 8 funky flavours including Cheery Cherries, Strawberry and Cream, Cola Breeze, Sour Fruit Salad, Tropical Fruit, Koala Gummy Bears, Summer Peaches and Sour Mix and Match.

Available in 100g snack packs with a RRP of between 99p and £1.99, the range has been approved by the Vegetarian Society and was recently shortlisted for the Food Northwest Award for Innovation.

Goody Good Stuff Director Melissa Burton comments, “After many years of research and development, we feel that the Goody Good Stuff range offers something quite unique to the sugar confectionary sector.  Not only do we expect the brand to become the popular treat of choice for consumers with specific religious or choice related dietary requirements but we feel the ranges’ exciting flavour combinations, allergen free ethos and stand out packaging will attract sweet lovers with allergies and food intolerances, while re-assuring parents who are buying treats for their kids.”

Guaranteeing on-shelf standout with its eye catching, colourful packaging highlighting the ranges’ incredible USP’s and brand ambassador – Kobi,  the cheeky Koala, the company is targeting the independent, fine food, health food and “free from” multiple and foodservice sectors as it looks to generate listings.

The range will be going on-shelf in the UK at Booths Supermarkets, Holland & Barrett and Planet Organic from September. The Goody Good Stuff launch will be supported with a consumer PR campaign, sampling at on-target speciality foodie events and through activity on the newly launched Goody Good Stuff consumer website –  www.goodygoodstuff.com
