Italian restaurant brand Zizzi has partnered with Morrisons to launch an exclusive Zizzi one stop meal solution which offers customers a choice of 17 products across mains, sides and desserts.

The Zizzi frozen shop will launch in 208 stores on 8 January 2024 with a promotional deal* of £10 for two mains, a side and a dessert.

The 17-strong range features eight exclusive-to-Morrisons products including some brand-new products such as the restaurant favourite Calzone Carne Piccante, Garlic Soul Breads, Chicken & Mushroom Risotto, and two new Rustica pizzas including Goat’s Cheese & Caramelised Red Onion.

The full range offers something for everyone including delicious vegan options. There are five Rustica pizzas each with a chilli or basil oil drizzle, a hand-stretched, folded and crimped Calzone and seven pasta and risotto meals including Bucatini Meatballs.

The collection is complemented with a duo of sides featuring the new Garlic Soul Breads which are generously filled with garlic butter, and finish with two delectable desserts including Salted Caramel Brownies.

The 17 products will be merchandised together in a branded freezer bay to make it easier for customers to choose their mains, side and dessert for the whole family in one go.

The products are inspired by popular Zizzi menu dishes and aim to provide a full night in offer that allows customers to get a slice of the restaurant experience at home.

Zizzi’s frozen range has consistently outperformed the market growing both value and volume sales by 176% and 159% respectively** as customers replicate the eating-out experience at home. It has helped drive premiumisation in the frozen aisle by offering quality dishes with the famous Zizzi twists, which adds excitement to the frozen category.

Zizzi found that 43%^ of consumers are shopping frozen more frequently than six months ago looking for affordable indulgence.

Zizzi debuted its Zizzi frozen brand in Sainsbury’s in 2020, expanding the range to include pastas and sides which were launched in Tesco in March 2022, it has built this with a listing in Waitrose for its pasta meals in 2023. The retail products are inspired by its popular restaurant dishes so shoppers can experience its unique premium dining experience at home.
