Leading World Foods specialist Tropical Sun is celebrating 21 years of helping World Food enthusiasts Tropicalise their food! To mark the occasion the brand is donating £21,000 to worthy causes, is introducing a whole host of exciting new products and has embarked on its biggest marketing campaign to date.
From humble beginnings in 1996, Tropical Sun has grown from offering a few specialist ingredients from Africa and the Caribbean, to hundreds of delicious products from all over the World including Asia, the Middle East and South America.
As part of the brand’s continued commitment to support the communities that have helped it to grow, Tropical Sun is donating £21,000 to worthy causes. This includes funds towards the development and refurbishment of Jose Marti Technical High School and White Marl Primary School in Jamaica.
The brand’s high-impact integrated marketing campaign, which is live now, includes TV, radio, outdoor, PR, PoS, sampling and digital activations. The aim is to engage existing consumers with exciting new product launches and invite shoppers to try something different and “Tropicalise” their mealtimes. Tropical Sun has also re-launched a new-look, easy-to-navigate website (www.tropicalsunfoods.com), which includes brand news, product usage information and great recipe ideas.
The brand’s recent NPD campaign has included the launch of a range of herbal teas, cassava chips and natural agave syrup. Additionally, it has added a jumbo 2 litre SKU to its 100% Pure Coconut Oil, with more products still set to be announced later this year.
