RETAILERS have been put on alert as reports reach the UK of a major new outbreak of Toxic Waste. Toxic Waste, the Hazardously Sour Candy Brand, has added two innovative new products to its top-selling range – and retailers have been warned to expect an explosive uplift in their children’s confectionery sales and profits!
The latest exciting additions to the iconic candy range are Toxic Waste Hi-Voltage Bubblegum and Toxic Waste Sour Candy Spray.
The new launches follow the outstanding sales success of the Toxic Waste double-action candy in a drum, Pucker Suckers Lollipops and Nuclear Sludge Chew Bar.
Toxic Waste Hi-Voltage Bubblegum with a shockingly sour core features over half a metre of gum in tongue-tingling Amp’d Apple, Surgin’ Strawberry and Blackout Blu Razz flavours. Toxic Waste Hii-Voltage Bubblegum will retail at around 99p and is presented in eye-catching display boxes featuring the Mr Toxie Head character and containing 12 x 90g packs.
Toxic Waste Sour Candy Spray comes in Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Green Apple and Strawberry flavours retailing at around 99p per 10ml pack. This unique product combines a sour candy liquid spray with a toy as each pack features a collectable Toxic Waste character finger puppet. The featured characters are Professor Sauernoggin (inventor of Toxic Waste candy), his faithful sidekick Hazmat the Lab Rat and Mr Toxie Head, the professor’s alter-ego. Each colourful display pack contains 12 sour candy sprays.
Toxic Waste Hazardously Sour Candy, a brand owned by Candy Dynamics of Indiana, USA, is sold and distributed in the UK by Wirral-based Newbridge Foods.
David Beaumont, Director of Newbridge Foods, said the latest additions to the Toxic Waste range provided retailers with a great opportunity to build a superb Toxic Waste display of top-selling children’s confectionery products.
“Toxic Waste candy has been a phenomenal success both in the USA and the UK and we are delighted to be offering retailers and consumers two new products which will bring tremendous excitement and innovation to the fast-growing sour candy sector. There’s no doubt that the spread of Toxic Waste throughout the UK is great news for the confectionery market!”
Toxic Waste burst onto the UK market about five years ago with the launch of its now famous drum pack containing 16 ultra-sour candies in Apple, Lemon, Blue Raspberry, Black Cherry and Watermelon flavours. Retailing at around 99p, the iconic Toxic Waste candies have a unique double-action hazardously-sour flavour. Just when you think it’s over…it’s not!
The Toxic Waste success story continued with the launch of Pucker Suckers lollipops with a fizzy core. Retailing at 10p each, Pucker Suckers come in Apple, Lemon, Blue Raspberry and Cherry flavours in a display drum containing 100 lollipops. This was recently followed by the introduction of Toxic Waste Nuclear Sludge – a sour apple chew bar retailing at 10p and packaged in a colourful display box containing 60 bars.
