The St Ives Group is delighted to announce a series of recent industry award wins across several divisions.

St Ives Digital Media division was awarded a Gold POPAI in the category for Alcoholic & Soft Drinks for its campaign for Barcardi Breezer & Eristoff Vodka which used e-paper display technology. The e-paper provides animated imagery and messaging at point of sale. The campaign was acknowledged as an innovative way of engaging shoppers in a retail environment which proved to increase sales.

SP, the POS, POP, retail print and display production and marketing services division of the St Ives Group, is the proud winner of three POPAI awards recognising excellence in the Retail Marketing Industry. SP’s work on the Levi’s Curve ID in-store and window campaign was a Gold Winner in the category for Fashion, Personal Products and Accessories. The campaign not only provided impactful and integral visibility but successfully communicated an entirely new concept in how to shop for jeans.

A second Gold POPAI Award was won for their work with Sainsbury’s on an FSDU designed to support Sainsbury’s in-store activity for Comic Relief Red Nose Day. Amongst other notable features, the unit boasted an adjustable retail footprint allowing it to be used in both large supermarkets and Sainsbury’s local stores alike. It also doubled up as a post-red nose day recycling collection point.

A Bronze POPAI Award also acknowledged SP’s work in the Sustainability Category with their Cadbury’s Crunchie Rocks unit. The unit was designed in line with Cadbury’s ‘When purple goes green’ initiative. Using fully recyclable substrates it works with Cadbury’s existing shelf-ready-packaging which effectively becomes the display unit’s shelves reducing the volume of materials used.

Meanwhile, Pragma, the division of the St Ives Group that specialises in consulting within the retail and consumer markets has recently won its fourth award of the year, as ‘Strategic Advisory Firm of the Year’ at DealMakers Monthly Magazine’s end of the year awards.

These awards add to the win in April for Service Graphics, St Ives’ large format display and events division, at the Sign & Digital UK Awards. Service Graphics’ “Through the Wall” project, for National Museums Liverpool, won the “Best Wide Format Print Project”. The project involved the creation of large scale mural graphics which gave the impression of looking through the wall into another space to reveal some of the city’s most treasured artifacts and objects. The graphics were installed at the Arena and Convention Centre Liverpool (ACC), to draw attention to the city’s cultural treasures and venues. The project has since been extended to other Liverpool city centre locations including, Tate Liverpool and Liverpool ONE.

Speaking about the awards, Rob Kelly, Group Marketing Director says, “We take a pride in delivering a winning service for all of our clients and I’m really pleased for all teams involved that their hard work and dedication has been recognised within the wider industry”.
