Savsé, the UK’s fastest growing cold pressed & HPP smoothie and juice brand, is introducing a new look across its full product range following an overhaul of its brand positioning and packaging. Retailers attending The International Food and Drink Event (IFE) at ExCeL London (17-20 March 2019) will get an exclusive first look at the new design and new positioning before it rolls out into the trade from later this month.

The new positioning and design marks a bold new step for the brand, bringing to life the new brand platform of ‘Never Compromise’. Savsé never compromise on ingredients, production process, taste or nutrition, so consumers don’t have to either.

Unlike many other smoothie and juice brands available to grocery and convenience retailers, Savsé never pasteurise their fruit and veg, instead using a special, small-batch, high pressure process (HPP) to preserve its drinks.  Research carried out by Savsé prior to the redesign showed that consumers clearly understood why Savsé is a product worth paying more for, once they had its cold pressed and HPP (high-pressure process) explained in an easy-to-understand way. This is where the key statement ‘Never Heated’ came from and is why it sits at the heart of Savsé’s new ‘Never Compromise’ communication platform.

Each drink is filled to the brim with 100% natural fruits and antioxidant-rich vegetables, to ensure the tastiest, healthiest raw smoothies, with no added sugars, colourings, supplements or water.  It is this attribute that has inspired the new funnel design that will appear across all communications, as well as on the front of the pack, demonstrating that each drink is crammed full of natural nutrition.

HPP (also known as pascalisation) maintains the natural goodness of the fruit and veg, creating drinks bursting with flavour that are as good for you as home-made. This is markedly different to other methods such as pasteurisation, used by some leading brands, which heats up the fruit and vegetables, destroying the natural vitamins, nutrients and the vibrant flavours.
