  • With mains priced at just £4 and sides at £2.50, these ready-made dishes are high-quality, convenient and bursting with flavour. 

From bustling street food stalls in Seoul to tasty noodle bars in Kyoto, the new by Sainsbury’s Pan-Asian range is inspired by the rich tapestry of Asian cuisine, aimed at bringing its exciting and diverse array of flavours to kitchens across the nation.

There is growing appetite for Pan-Asian dishes, with research showing that half of Brits have eaten upwards of five types of world cuisines at home over a 3-month period[1] Japanese, Korean and Thai cuisine among the fastest-growing in the UK[2].

“Our new range of meals are inspired by some of the bold and vibrant flavours you’d expect in popular Japanese, Indonesian, Korean and Thai dishes, so our customers can easily enjoy the foods they want more of, without the expense of travelling or hassle of scratch cooking” says Sainsbury’s Product Developer, Katy Winterbottom.

With mains starting at £4 and sides at £2.50, dishes can be enjoyed on their own or mixed-and-matched for a complete meal experience. by Sainsbury’s Chicken Pad Thai Noodles – rice noodles with chargrilled chicken breast in a sweet and tangy tamarind, lime and galangal sauce, £4.

by Sainsbury’s Beef Bibimbap– marinated beef slices with kimchi style cabbage and soy roasted shiitake mushrooms on sushi rice, £4.

by Sainsbury’s Nasi Goreng – Indonesian style savoury chicken and egg fried rice in a garlic and chilli sauce with chargrilled vegetables, £4.

by Sainsbury’s Sticky Chilli Chicken Rice Bowl – chargrilled chicken breast with a sticky chilli, garlic and ginger sauce and mixed vegetables on sushi rice, £4.
