RH Amar, the UK’s leading fine food importer and distributor, is marking 70 years of driving trends in the UK fine food sector, with the launch of a new guide for brand owners.


Aimed at helping premium brands to carve out a share of the UK’s £285bn food and drink sector*, RH Amar has distilled unique experience gathered across eight decades into a special four-page guide.

Entitled ‘Helping Brands Succeed’, the guide aims to show brand owners the size of the fine food prize in the UK, as well as offering hints and tips about how to break into the market.

It also reveals the sector’s current growth points, including in convenience retail where £1 in every £4 spent in food and drink retail is predicted to go through that channel by 2019**.

Special attention is also given to the UK’s foodservice sector, which is currently growing by +3% year-on-year*** as Britain’s appetite for eating out continues to go from strength to strength.
