Macmillan Cancer Support’s much-loved World’s Biggest Coffee Morning will be returning to event spaces and eateries across the country – for its 27th year – on Friday 29 September 2017.
Having raised a total of £29.5 million in 2016, this year’s event aims to raise even more vital money for people living with cancer. This is the year that the total raised by Coffee Morning since it began will pass the £200 million mark, so we really do need everyone in the food and drink trade’s help.
It couldn’t be more simple to get involved – all you need to do is get together with colleagues, buyers and clients over coffee and cake. You can register now for your free fundraising pack via the website – www.macmillan.org.uk/coffee.
The first official World’s Biggest Coffee Morning took place in 1991. It has since become the biggest fundraising event of its kind, raising more than £194million for people affected by cancer over the past 26 years. One in two of us will get cancer in our lifetime, so it’s time to get together and change lives with every slice.
Every coffee slurped, crumb dropped and conversation shared will help Macmillan continue to provide emotional, financial, medical and practical support to people affected by cancer. Macmillan’s corporate partner Greene King will once again be getting involved in the charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this year, with employees hosting coffee mornings nationwide on Friday 29th September.
