Princes has launched Princes Chicken Meatballs in Tomato Sauce and Princes Chicken Meatballs in Gravy as it continues to see demand for canned food grow. At the peak of the pandemic, 2020 saw 3.7m new shoppers in total Canned Ready Meals in particular appealing to a younger shopper.
Princes Meatballs are available from 30th June with listings secured in Farmfoods and B&M, and an initial RRP from 69p. With a focus on quality and taste, the Princes Chicken meatballs are a versatile store cupboard staple.
Dean Towey, Commercial Director at Princes said: “We know that younger people have realised the versatility, convenience and quality of canned ready meals in the past year. That is why we have created a range of new products which will appeal to them. We think they will prove to be popular with both existing and new consumers & people will love the flavours and versatility of these great new products”.
The launch is the first of a number of innovations to come from Princes in the Canned Ready Meal Category in 2021.
