Now Mobile, a leading MVNO specialising in international calling and low cost pre-paid mobile solutions, has signed a national sales agreement with Tesco.
The distribution agreement will see Now Mobile SIMs made available across the UK in selected Tesco stores, as well as online. The deal is the next step in a partnership which has allowed existing Now Mobile users to purchase top-ups at Tesco stores since 2012.
Tony Ion, Head of Sales at Now Mobile, commented: “Tesco is one of the most important brands in the UK. This new agreement will grant Now Mobile access to Tesco’s exceptionally high footfall, making our SIMs available to more people than ever before. We believe our commitment to low-cost quality, and emphasis on transparent pricing, is well aligned to Tesco’s own message and will resonate with Tesco shoppers.”
As part of the partnership Now Mobile participated in a promotional offer in which Tesco customers that purchased a mobile top-up of £15 or more were entered into a prize draw to win a car. Now Mobile has also raised awareness of the new availability by placing advertising in Tesco’s point-of-sale SIM brochure.
Andrew Davies, Now Mobile’s CFO, said: “Over the past 12 months Tesco has been an important access point for Now Mobile top-up purchases via the EPAY system. We are excited that Tesco has agreed to extend its relationship with us and that potential customers will be now able to purchase both a Now Mobile SIM and top-up immediately in a large volume of high profile stores.”
An innovative MNVO, Now Mobile is an established forward-thinking mobile provider. It is committed to delivering low prices, unique offers, excellent coverage, great voice quality, reliable 3G data and an excellent roaming footprint.
