Too Good To Be Gluten Free launches market’s first gluten free pork pie and sausage roll products for mainstream supermarket shelves

Samuel Benjamin, brand manager of award-winning Too Good To Be Gluten Free’s NO.G range, talks about the market’s first gluten free sausage roll and pork pie to be available on the shelves of mainstreamsupermarkets, launched recently as part of its NO.G ‘To Go’ range for front-of-store shelves and in addition to its ready to eat quiche and dessert products.
“The gluten free category has seen a 29% growth in the last year, and is still accelerating. Whether it is a coeliac diet or a lifestyle choice, gluten free is well documented in the media with its array of celebrity advocators and has subsequently demanded extra space in supermarkets, with 50% of shoppers now buying into this area of food.”

Spend on gluten free per buyer has risen by 16.5% in the last year, with the volume of products purchased and the per pack spend both increasing.

Created by Too Good To Be Gluten Free’s top chef, the tasty NO.G Pork Pie and NO.G Sausage Roll are now available from Ocado.
The pork pie, £2.29, is 130g of mouth-watering seasoned British Pork and gluten free hot water pastry. The pork pies are ready-to-eat from purchase.
The NO.G Sausage Roll, at the same price of £2.29, is made from gluten free butter-enriched puff pastry and crammed with succulent seasoned British Pork sausage meat. The 110g product can be eaten cold or hot from the oven.
Developed by NO.G’s expert chefs, the new pork pie and sausage roll are suitable for coeliacs. They are gluten and wheat free, with no artificial colours, flavourings or hydrogenated fat.
