Republic Technologies (UK) Ltd is extending ZIG-ZAG, one of the UK’s largest RYO accessory brands, by launching a new range of non-wrapped acetate (NWA) filters capitalising on the growing value segment.
The range comprises of three SKUs, offering smokers Extra Slim and Slim filter tips in packs of 165 and 120. RRPs start at £0.59.
Non-wrapped acetate (NWA) filter tips are the UK’s fastest growing and favourite filter tips, up 12.3%*, and take up the largest volume share of the filter tips market at up to 96%*.
NWA filter tips offer a better smoking experience than (paper wrapped) mono acetate filters. They are easier to grip and roll, offer up to 10% better tar retention and, as there is no paper barrier, there is full ventilation and porosity around the filter, increasing the airflow and creating a smoother smoke.
The new SKUs are: 165 filter tips per pack Extra Slim RRP £0.65 and Slim RRP £0.59. Available in outers of 10, offering trade PORs of up to 60%.120 filter tips per pack (Extra Slim) RRP £0.69. Available in outers of 20 – trade PORs of up to 50%.
Value is one of the key drivers of the growing RYO market ,and the new filter tips range offers customers a proven product quality at a value price, unlike competitor brands that use (paper wrapped) mono acetate filter technology.
