ELIZABETH SHAW, one of the UK’s oldest and most famous confectionery companies, is getting into the Christmas spirit with the launch of some exciting new additions to its iconic Famous Names range of liqueur chocolates.
In response to repeated consumer requests, a Harveys Bristol Cream variant is being added to the Famous Names range for Christmas 2010. The new 165g gift box will have a recommended retail price of £5.99 and will perfectly complement the ever-popular Famous Names Signature Collection gift packs.
The Famous Names Signature Collection features famous brands such as Cointreau®, Courvoisier VS® cognac, Harveys®, Irish Cream, Drambuie® and Grants® whisky liqueur chocolates. The Signature Collection comes in a range of gift boxes priced from £2.99-£11.99 to suit all trade and consumer needs, which feature a new, warm, stylish and contemporary design. “Famous Names is the must-stock, market-leading liqueur chocolates brand in the UK with a 29% share in the four weeks leading up to Christmas 2009 (source: Nielsen data), “ said Malachy McReynolds, Managing Director of Elizabeth Shaw. “The boxed chocolate market performed very strongly last year with a 9% increase in the 16 weeks leading up to Christmas, so the very clear message to retailers is to stock a full range for 2010.”
The Famous Names Café Liqueur Collection will also be available for Christmas 2010 in a 165g gift box – with an RRP of £5.99 – featuring 20 finest dark chocolate coffee liqueurs in Irish Cream Latte, Coffee Liqueur Cappuccino, Orange Mocha and Amaretto Espresso. The collection is also available in a 75g presentation box with a recommended retail price of £2.99.
