A new banana brand – BanaBay – is making strong inroads into the grocery marketplace and has its sights set on significant growth, thanks to a combination of high product quality, competitive price and excellent supply services.
BanaBay bananas are produced by one of Ecuador’s leading producers of high quality fresh fruit, with over 400 hectares of ethically managed plantations and thirty years experience in the export of bananas worldwide.
Although new to the UK, BanaBay is one of the producers behind leading brands including Fresh Del Monte, exporting to Asia and the US.
BanaBay has teamed up with supply chain consultants Logistic Partners Ltd to import product into the UK. Logistic Partners manage the shipping, ripening, refrigerated transportation, storage and distribution processes, as well as handling sales and customer relationships in the UK.
The first shipment of BanaBay bananas was imported into the UK in June last year. From an initial two containers, BanaBay is now importing five containers a week into the UK, enabling the company to deliver continuity of supply on a six days per week basis to its rapidly growing customer base of wholesalers and independent traders across the UK.

Logistic Partners Ltd, experienced logistics and supply chain consultants, are in partnership with BanaBay, handling import of produce from Ecuador into UK and Europe. Logistic Partners is responsible for overseeing the banana ripening process and managing specialist storage and distribution, as well as managing customer relationships in the UK.
