DZD sell thousands of flame retardant Christmas trees and baubles, and miles of garlands and fairy lights every year. All of which are designed and manufactured for display use, so they are long lasting and hard wearing.

Being conscious of retailers’ needs for energy efficiency and safety, they stock a large range of low voltage LED lights.

DZD’s range of Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands are available in a wide range of sizes, colours, styles, both traditional and contemporary, and prices to suit most budgets.

For something totally unique they also provide a complete bespoke display service. They offer a design service to interpret your ideas and can visualise in-store seasonal enhancements for you. Your own dedicated account manager, who will guide you through the entire process from concept to delivery, is part of the service.

One of the most popular bespoke concepts is to create three dimensional representations of the icons and images used in your POS and packaging to add theatre and interest to print based schemes.

Clients such as Argos, Waitrose, Morrisons and BP Connect have benefitted from the DZD bespoke service.

Sonya Storm, Creative Director at DZD shares some advice on creating maximum impact with your displays this Christmas.

Be brave with colour. You really don’t have to stick to red, gold and green. Be bold. Black, white and silver would be a sophisticated choice suited to an up-market store. Pink, purple and turquoise will add eye-catching splashes of colour, while keeping a festive, celebratory feel.

New for this year are some gorgeous tinted clear baubles in complementary hues that look just like glass but they’re shatterproof.

Clear_tinted_baubles-2Don’t dilute your message. It is so much more effective to have large groups of decorations, a cluster of giant baubles or fold out foil shapes in hot-spots and key areas for example, than to have small decorations spread thinly around your store.

Target key areas. Use decorations to highlight the areas where you are merchandising seasonal products. It makes a feature of the merchandise and facilitates the customer journey. A group of decorations at each end of an aisle would make perfect “signposts” for your customers.

For the party season fake balloons and bunting would be perfect in the BWS aisle.

Choose a theme, and then stick to it. Consistency in design, colour and style of decorations builds more impact and sustains the message you are giving. You could select baubles, snowflakes, stars or a theme such as gingerbread and candy. Vary the scale for floor standing, counter top, suspended or as tree decorations. But whatever your decision is, keep to it. Repetition is one of the key tools of the visual merchandiser.

Retro is big. Giant fold out foil and paper decorations. Paper chains, ready-made, in glittered acetate. Multicoloured LED lights. These contemporary re-workings of traditional designs are all bang on trend this year.

DZD isn’t just about Christmas though. They also supply décor for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween and so much more.

There is also a comprehensive collection of tools and display accessories, including: jet wires, ceiling clip, c-hooks, magnetic hooks, suspension wires, staple guns and nylon thread.
